The detailed design of the Vitomax boilers and the company's vast experience in building industrial boilers ensure superior quality, high operational reliability and a long service life.
The comprehensive Vitomax product range from Viessmann includes steam boilers with a continuous steam output of up to 4 t/h with an operating pressure of 6 to 25 bar.
Our versatile Vitomax high pressure steam boilers are designed to fully meet the needs of large industrial concerns.
The benefits at a glance:
- Energy-saving thermal insulation
- Large steam chamber with low load
- High efficiency of up to 95.5 percent
- Water-cooled burner entry point at the front and water-cooled rear reversing chamber
- Low-stress design
- Optional integrated economiser for efficient operation

High pressure steam for industrial use
The boiler provides a continuous supply of steam at an output of 0.5 to 4 t/h whilst its operating pressure extends from 6 to 25 bar.
The lateral arrangement of the flame tube results in a highly compact boiler design that meets all the requirements for efficient steam generation.
Large steam chamber with low pipe load
The spacing between the smoke tubes, as well as from the smoke tubes to the boiler shell and to the flame tube, substantially exceed requirements.
The shearing force on the end face floors caused by different linear expansion in the smoke tubes and the flame tube is therefore extremely low.
The corner stays of the boiler are always arranged in pairs. As a result, forces are distributed throughout the boiler, reducing stress and increasing its service life.

Designed for larger industrial concerns
The Vitomax HS type 73 high pressure steam boiler is the ideal solution for large industrial concerns, such as those involved in food processing, fertilisers, construction material, paper, beverage, chemical and pharmaceuticals, as well as hospitals and refineries.
Saving energy and protecting the climate
Viessmann is well aware of its responsibilities for protecting the environment and conserving natural resources. Our company philosophy and products have been constructed with this duty in mind.
"Nothing is so good that it cannot be improved." This motto is reflected in Viessmann company principles. In this industry, Viessmann can rightfully claim to be the leader in quality and technology, and as such, aims to continually set new standards.
This applies in particular to our product range, which is closely geared towards significantly lowering the consumption of fossil fuels and gradually replacing them with sustainable sources of energy.
At around 40 percent, the heating market actually accounts for the largest proportion of energy consumption. The rest is shared by "goods transport", "personal transport" and "power". These values can also be applied approximately to other industrial countries. Rising energy costs mean that the emphasis is on reducing the consumption of fossil fuels as quickly as possible.

Reliable design
The spacing between the smoke tubes, as well as from the smoke tubes to the boiler shell and to the flame tube, are in compliance with statutory requirements. The shearing force on the end face floors caused by different linear expansion in the smoke tubes and the flame tube is therefore extremely low, guaranteeing a long service life for these steam boilers.
The corner stays of the boiler are always arranged in pairs. As a result, the forces are distributed throughout the boiler, reducing stress and increasing the service life. In every case, the values lie well below the limits permitted by the FDBR trade association.
